Michael has been a professional runner most of his life and a injury rehab massage therapist for the last 25 years. As a runner himself, he always had some sort of balm in his bag to help with aches and pains. He learned early on in his collegiate career that balms were a crucial tool to have in his training kit.

When he began his massage business, balms once again became an important tool in his trade.

Six years ago when Michael was using a brand name balm for one of his clients and he looked over the ingredients in the balm and realized that for the last 18 years he had been using products with his bare hands that were primarily made with petroleum-based ingredients, as well as oils that he didn’t know the origins or quality of. At that time, he set out to do something different, to make balms that are natural, safe and effective.

These balms can be used for self-massage either before or during training sessions to help warm-up and loosen tight areas or in home-care to help with aches and pains.
